Workshop Description

Are you anxious or confused about the CAPTA requirement to notify parents of the allegations against them?  Are you aware of your role in ensuring parent's constitutional rights to freedom from unwarranted search and seizure (4th Amendment) and due process (14th Amendment)?

This half-day workshop will explain the CAPTA requirements and PCSA's responsibility to uphold parent's constitutionally protected rights during casework interventions.  The workshop will explore the issues and dilemmas involved, will teach you how to think through the issues to determine an appropriate course of action, and will provide up-to-date guidance on CAPTA requirements and upholding parent's rights.

Space is limited.  Registration will be on a first registered, first served basis.
